Through groundbreaking processess equitably innovative creation of our signature Diamond+, our Sapphire+, Ruby+ and Emerald+ undergo production in laboratory conditions comparable to the geological forces taking place beneath the Earth’s crust. With a chemical makeup identical to their natural counterpart, all coloured Gemstones+ are almost impossible to differentiate with the naked eye. Diamonds are not the only gemstones that are guilty of environmental exploitation and humanitarian issues. Tens of thousands of illegal miners have swarmed protected rainforests of Madagascar in search of sapphire deposits located underneath, creating temporary settlements and clearing away forests for further development. Such influx of people and subsequent deforestation has alarming, irreversible effects on the local ecosystem, wildlife and society. Many of these illegal mines, although contribute largely to the industry of precious stones in their respective country, have little impact on sustained development in countries such as Madagascar. With little to no tax paid on such gemstone exports, much of the money made from the purchase of these gemstones takes place outside and is not circulated within the local economy.
Not only are our lab-produced Sapphire+, Ruby+ and Emerald+ chemically identical but they also exhibit optical qualities that are rare to find in natural deposits. A unique and notable difference between the lab-produced and natural coloured gemstones is the occurrence of inclusions (any foreign material other than the gemstone that is trapped inside a mineral during its formation). Such inclusions have profound effects on a gemstone’s clarity, ultimately defining the gemstone’s conclusive valuation. Set within a controlled environment, factors contributing to possible inclusions have been eliminated and further control of distinct colours can be achieved. Our Sapphire+, Ruby+ and Emerald+ have been mindfully produced, and have obtained the alluring and sought after shades of Royal Blue, Pigeon Blood, and Colombian Green respectively. These three shades of colour are often associated with these three cardinal gems, and denote the superior quality of our Gemstones+. With unmatched scintillation and free of unwanted inclusions, our three sustainable, socially conscious gemstones: Sapphire+, Ruby+ and Emerald+ offer you the opportunity to recreate any bespoke piece of jewellery. Alongside the creative freedom that comes along with lab-produced gemstones, no bespoke jewellery request is too big nor detail too small for us to help you achieve your wildest dreams at an affordable price. Be rest assured that your socially and environmentally conscious purchase has shifted the balance of the sustainable jewellery business towards the right direction.
